DATE:         November 2001

TIME:            About 8:00 A.M.

LOCATION:   Crab Orchard, Kentucky, Lincoln County

TERRAIN:      Wooded

OBSERVED:   I was out hunting and I was looking at the edge of the woods. Some crows started to make some noise and I heard something coming through the woods. Then I saw something big and black near the edge of the woods. It grunted and made some other noises that I can't describe. At first I thought it was a bear but then it stood up. It had a stick and it threw it at something in a tree. I got scared as it walked standing up. I thought if it came any closer I would shoot it. I was about 50 yards away. It walked off back into the woods and made some more noise.

About a half an hour later I went over to where it was at to see if I could find anything to prove what I saw but I didn't find anything. I thought about going into the woods after it. It was just a small wood lot but I didn't want to take any chances and really run in to it. It looked like it could really hurt me if I got it mad.

Back when I was in grade school a friend and I found what looked like a big foot print
If I remember right it was about a foot long behind the school in some mud near some woods that surrounds a lake. We called it a Bigfoot print out of the fun of it. That was about 7 or 8 years ago.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):    I was deer hunting
 

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:   Black fur. It looked like a bear when it walked on all fours. When it stood up it was about 8 feet tall. It held and threw that stick like a man.
