LOCATION:   Ford County, Kansas  
 

TERRAIN:    Other, some trees  
 

OBSERVED:    We were driving down highway 54 east of Kingsdown when a large dark brown / black  figure of at least 8-9 feet in height ran across the road in front of our car about 100 feet in front of us.  It appeared to be running on 2 legs at  high rate of speed.  My wife and I both witnessed this. We tried to look into the field but it disappeared in the darkness.  We were returning home from our vacation in Arizona.  We both stopped and could not believe we saw the exact same thing.  No other cars were on the road at this time it was just us for miles.

Activities of Witness:    We were driving home from our vacation in Arizona to stop in Pratt for the night.
 

Description of Creature:  It appeared to have large arms and legs.  8-9 feet tall.  Did not see eyes.  Dark brown to black in color and very fast
