REPORT RECEIVED From: The GCBRO Online Report Submission Form.
DATE:
07/1975
TIME:
Between 7:00- 8:00 pm
LOCATION:
Kansas, Chautauqua County
TERRAIN:
Field with rows of trees perpendicular to the road
OBSERVED:
I was watching out the window of my aunt’s car and saw a giant hairy creature.
It stood about 8 feet high and was the traditional shape with long arms.
It was standing about 200 hundred feet from the road. It looked like
it had just stepped out from behind a tree that was about the same size
and was standing looking toward the road at us going by. I think
it was standing still as to not draw attention to itself. You could
not see its face because the sun had just gone down and it was covered
by shadow. The area is and was very rural and the roads are rarely
traveled. An animal like Bigfoot could walk down the road for hours
in this area and never be seen. Vehicles just do not drive down these
roads very often.
Activities of Witness:
We were moving from Pawhuska Oklahoma to Kansas where my Aunt and
I was sitting in the car starring out the window as we were driving.
Description of Creature:
It stood about 8 feet high and was the traditional shape with long arms.
It was light enough to see the shape but not enough to see details like
facial features.
