LOCATION:   Iowa, Guthrie County
 

TERRAIN:   Hay Field next to woods and creek
 

OBSERVED:     we (me and 3 friends) were out camping in the pasture next to the woods and had a good fire going, we were talking and haven a good time, no beer was consumed, and i glanced over at my 4 wheeler to see if it was too close to the big fire growing then i looked over by the terrace out in the feild (big piles of dirt to keep the soil from eroding)and about 30-40 yards from the fire,and then i saw a tall shadow figure thing that was walking slowly and when i looked at my friends again and asked what the hell is that they looked over and were first confused then i said "holy s*it its big foot" and then the looks on there faces turned to terror as well as mine, after that we were unsure what to do, i wanted to go get my 12 gauge, i wasnt going to the house my self meaning i would take someone with me, leaving 2 by the selves to face the fury of what ever that was, so i stayed cause i guess 4 guys vs one thing is better than 2, in the mean time during the panic the "bigfoot" couldnt decide weather to run toward the corn field next to the woods or head back toward the road. finally we acted, me and my biggest friend went to investigate on the 4 wheeler and by this time big foot began to trot faster toward the corn field and we went into a little dip in the trail and came back up over the hill and just saw the the black hairy thing that looks like a gorilla you see on the nature shows jump in the corn wich is about 8-9 feet tall at this time of year.it must have been running fast cause it was a long way from the terrace to the corn field now if i have to for any reason go out in the hay field at night i do it with my shot gun and my german sheperd, me being 5'11'' 200 lbs. im not normally scared by much of anything

Description of Creature:    black hairy thing that looks like a gorilla you see on the nature shows
 

Other Notes:   i maybe wrong but i think it was a full moon or near one. and the only people that live out there are old farmers who probably wont be pulling a prank at 2 in the morning
 

Additional Notes or Comments:    like i said there are old folks that live around here no beer, 2 in the morning and my dad works part time at a plant in Des Moines 50 miles away and my mom isnt the one who would give up sleep to scare the piss out of us
