OBSERVED:    I saw it walk across the XXXXXX Canal, which is not deep, but it covered it in about 4 huge steps, then ran into the woods.
 

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):  Went fishing early in the morning.
 

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:  Large hairy man-ape.
