Bigfoot Sightings

OBSERVED: This was related to me by a co-worker named Jxxxx. Jxxxx advised when he was about 11-12 years old, he and his family lived in a trailer park in Manito, IL. Jxxxx advised that around that time, there was several incidents that occurred around the trailer park and nearby wooded areas. John reported that the residents would hear strange screams in the area off and on for a period of 1-2 years. One incident that occurred was that something scared a residents 2 dogs so bad, that the dogs broke a sliding glass door at the back of the trailer to get inside one night. Also there was a report on a hairy head/face peeking over a wood pile that was about 7 feet off the ground. There was also footprints found and cast that were sent off to some university somewhere on the west coast, but Jxxxx is not sure whatever became of the casts. Also there was a "bad" smell that would sometimes engulf the area. Whatever it was just finally left the area.

Activities of Witness: Hunting, daily activities inside and outside of the trailers in the trailer park.

Description of Creature: The only description was of a hairy head and face that was observed "peeking" over a wood pile that was about 7 feet off the ground. The creature would keep peeking over the wood pile, then ducking out of sight.

Other Notes: Jxxxx did relate that his dad was hunting with 3 others in some woods near Manito one day, when his Dad stopped and sat down on a tree that had fallen down, when something his Dad thought was another one of the hunters came and sat down next to him. His Dad did notice a bad smell, but never looked as again, he though it was just one of the other hunters. After a while the 3 other hunters came walking up the trail, but whatever sat down next to Jxxxx's Dad was now gone.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes: A few years back, probably around 2005-2006, there was a report of footprints found near a church south of Pekin, IL. There was also a report around the same time of a woman seeing a dark hair covered creature walking on two legs cross the road near that area one winter night.
