OBSERVED: Ok... so I'm going to open myself up for some serious ridicule here, I know, but.... I had something strange happen on my way to work this morning and I have to share this. Am hoping that my xxxxx & Georgia area contacts might be able to shed some light on this for me.
Every morning I drive from where I live in xxxx, into xxxx to drive my school bus route. I was passing the fire station, there were two cars a ways a head of me, far enough that I could see them clearly, but they weren't real close, as a professional driver, I do tend to maintain a safe following distance, especially early in the morning.
Now, as I passed the fire-station,
something ran across the road behind the vehicle in front of me. Whatever
it was was big... tall enough to block out the lights of two vehicles and
big enough that it completely blocked out one side then the other.. and
it crossed the road in quick long strides and disappeared into the darkness
on the other side. Now... whatever it was I saw was dark, appeared to be
furry and waited for a cross-able gap in traffic. I was not a bear, not
a dog and not a deer and I'm positive it wasn't a person. It was fast,
but it was deliberate, and took definite strides...and appeared to be walking
upright.
I was quite stunned by what I saw.
I am observant and tend not to be one who resorts to exaggeration.
I'm not a nut, but stable and a school bus driver.
