TERRAIN:
Wooded
OBSERVED:
My nephew and I were looking out of the living room window towards the
road on which we stayed on. It is about 30 to 40 yards from the road to
the house. There are no street lights on this road, but there was a trailer
that sat no more than 30 ft from the road with a bright porch light on.
While talking to each other we saw a large dark figure walking alongside
the right side of the road. We were asking each other who has the nerve
to be walking down this road this time of night in the pitch dark? We continued
observing the figure and noticed that he was taking large steps and moving
at a medium pace. We noticed that the arms were swaying and that he had
no visible clothing on. We could see that there were no exterior garments
due to the porchlight emitting towards the road. As it continued walking
towards the darkness, we watched and waited for it to pass a mailbox unit
that sits right by the road. As it made it to the mailbox point, we waited
and waited for it to appear on the other side, and it did not. We both
were confused and thinking did whatever we saw go across the street into
the woods? Right off hand we had some idea of what we possibly saw.
Additional
Info: The next day we
went across the street to the wood line. We noticed that the bushes and
vines were parted. Right then we knew that we did see something and something
did go into the woods.

Other
(Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:
Several years later I went online and searched a bigfoot web site. I found
a article where there was a sighting in the Putnam Co area 15 miles outside
of Lake Sinclair, which is in the general area.
