LOCATION:Coal City, Alabama.  St. Clair County

TERRAIN: Wooded

OBSERVED:    We were trail riding in the woods.  It was two of my friends and I, we saw a figure?  thing?  that stood about 7-8 foot tall.  It was a smokey grayish color, it looked similiar to a human man, but covered with hair.  It was standing about 20 ft. in front of our truck.  He stood there in the road for a min. or two staring at the headlights.  As we went toward him he ran off in the edge of the woods.  We got to the top of the hill from where we seen him and stopped, got out of the truck and heard a high pitched scream.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):  The three of us were just out in the woods trail riding.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE: It is about 7-8 foot in hight.  Had a rounder and bigger head that a humans, was smokey gray and had long hair all over it's body.  Stood on two feet.  It had very, very long arms.

OTHER NOTES:  When we turned around and went back down the same road we saw footprints, that looked like human footprints, but they were at least 2 foot long a peice.

 OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA?:  I have heard stories told from different people stating they have seen it in a 25 mile radius of where we have seen it.  There has been sighting on xxxx xxxx Road in Odenville, other people have seen him at the xxxx xxx .
